About Whispor

Negotiation is where value is won. It is also where procurement has had the least intelligence.

Whispor is building the Negotiation Intelligence layer for procurement, helping teams decide where to negotiate, helping people negotiate better where judgment matters, and negotiating autonomously where scale matters.

WHY WE EXIST

Procurement digitized everything around negotiation. Not negotiation itself.

Strategic negotiations still depend heavily on who is in the room, what they know and what they remember. Meanwhile, thousands of commercially negotiable events receive little attention because manual negotiation does not scale.

Whispor is designed around both problems.

OUR THESIS

Human where judgment matters.
Autonomous where scale matters.
Intelligence across both.

Whispor Assist works beside procurement professionals in strategic negotiations. Whispor Autonomous handles suitable negotiations within procurement-defined objectives and guardrails.

LEADERSHIP & ADVISORY

Built with procurement experience at the table.

FOUNDER

Vinod Sharma

Founder · Whispor

Vinod Sharma is the founder of Whispor. His work has centered on procurement intelligence and applying AI to complex procurement decisions.

He founded Whispor around a gap he saw repeatedly: procurement organizations had invested heavily in systems for spend, sourcing, contracts and suppliers, while the actual negotiation remained dependent on individual preparation, experience and capacity.

His focus is to establish Negotiation Intelligence as a distinct procurement capability, combining decision intelligence, human judgment and autonomous execution rather than treating negotiation as another workflow to automate.

PROCUREMENT ADVISOR

Bill Dempsey

CPO · DaVita

Bill Dempsey serves as a procurement advisor to Whispor, bringing the operating perspective of a senior procurement leader to the platform’s product and market direction.

His advisory role helps keep Whispor grounded in how procurement organizations actually evaluate opportunities, manage supplier relationships, govern negotiations and adopt new technology.

That practitioner perspective is particularly valuable as Whispor develops the boundary between human-led strategic negotiation and autonomous execution at scale.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Technology should strengthen procurement judgment, not hide it.

Evidence over black-box claims.

Surface what changed, what supports it and why it may matter. Behavioral signals are contextual evidence to investigate, not deterministic emotion or lie detection.

Humans own strategic judgment.

Relationships, ambiguity and complex trade-offs still require experienced procurement professionals.

Autonomy needs boundaries.

Objectives, trade variables, approval thresholds and escalation rules should remain procurement-defined.

Every negotiation should make the next one better.

Positions, concessions, outcomes and counterparty history should become institutional intelligence rather than disappear after the meeting.
