From intake to award. With negotiation built in.

Whispor runs the event from the request to the recommendation. It finds suppliers, keeps responses sealed until the deadline, compares the bids and negotiates with the finalists. Your team makes the award.

Most sourcing tools stop when the bids arrive. Whispor keeps negotiating.

A sealed bid is usually a supplier's opening price. Whispor negotiates with each finalist one to one, on price, terms and delivery. It does not run reverse auctions.

Questions

Questions about Sourcing

Sourcing events

Does Whispor run reverse auctions?

No. Whispor negotiates with each finalist one to one, on price, terms and delivery. No supplier is shown another supplier's price.

Who makes the award?

Your team. Whispor recommends the award and shows why, side by side. Awarding business is on the list of things Whispor never does.

Can suppliers see each other's responses?

No. Responses stay sealed until the deadline, and after it each supplier's response stays with you.

What kinds of events suit Sourcing?

Indirect categories, services, spot buys with a deadline, and re-sourcing a contract that is about to end. Anything where comparing suppliers and then negotiating with the best of them pays off.

Spot buys

How fast can a spot buy run?

As fast as suppliers answer. Whispor sets the deadline from the date you need the goods, and negotiates with the finalists as soon as quotes close.

What stops a supplier changing the specification?

Substitutions, minimum order quantities and changes of scope need your buyer's approval. Whispor does not accept them on its own.

Compared with

How is Whispor different from Arkestro?

Arkestro steers multi-round bid events with predictive target prices in a registered supplier portal. Whispor runs sealed sourcing events and then negotiates one to one with the finalists, trading term, payment, service levels and volume as well as price. It also covers strategic and tail negotiation.

How is Whispor different from nnamu (Beroe)?

nnamu runs game-theory-based events for set-piece strategic sourcing, paired with Beroe's category intelligence. Whispor works continuously from your goals, between and around those events, on supplier memory built from your own deals.
